At Jilin Petrochemical Organic Synthesis Plant, a subsidiary of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), four Sinyoung SPR-A1 presses bale granular EPDM. Commissioned in May 2025, the system has a design rate of 175 bales per hour and stable annual output of 40,000 tonnes.
Project context
The project handles granular EPDM discharged from the upstream synthetic-rubber process. Four SPR-A1 hydraulic baling presses were engineered to match the incoming material rate, control compression-chamber clearance, and produce bales without flash or grey edges.

Project results
After commissioning, stable annual output reached 40,000 tonnes. The bales had no flash or grey edges, and the baling rate matched the upstream feed requirement.
Technical detail
Improved machining and installation accuracy keeps the clearance between the compression head and chamber within 0.5 mm to meet the bale-appearance requirement.
